چکیده
Recently, one of the most commonly discussed applications terahertz radiation is wireless telecommunication. It believed that future 6G systems will utilize this frequency range. Although exact technology telecommunication not yet known, it certain methods for increasing their bandwidth should be investigated in advance. In paper, we present diffractive optical elements division multiplexing waves. The structures have been designed as a combination binary phase grating and converging lens. allows differentiating frequencies, while lens assures separation focusing at finite distance. Designed manufactured from polyamide PA12 using SLS 3D printer verified experimentally. Simulations experimental results are shown different focal lengths. Moreover, parallel data transmission two channels carrier frequencies propagating same path. structure allowed detecting both signals independently without observable crosstalk. proposed can work wide range sub-terahertz depending on design assumptions. Therefore, they considered an appealing solution, regardless band finally used by systems.

Introduction: Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) has been extensively investigated to combat RF microwave multipath fading, and has been widely implemented in various digital communication standards such as wireless local area network standards (WIFI IEEE 802.11a) [1]. In this Letter, we propose an optical equivalent of the RF OFDM called coherent optical OFDM (CO-OFDM) to combat...

متن کاملNonlinear Frequency-Division Multiplexing
Two signal multiplexing strategies for multi-user optical fiber communication are considered: Wavelength-division multiplexing (WDM) and nonlinear frequency-division multiplexing (NFDM), based on the nonlinear Fourier transform (NFT). The inverse NFT is implemented using an approach that is dual of the forward NFT and does not require solving integral equations. In contrast to prior work where ...
متن کاملMultilevel silicon diffractive optics for terahertz waves
A multilevel microfabrication process has been developed to produce silicon Fresnel lenses for terahertz waves. A repeated binary fabrication process was used to create lenses with up to eight levels in complexity and these lenses have been compared to both less complex structures and refractive optic lenses. The microfabrication required deep reactive ion etching and multilevel resist processi...
